Structured Volunteer Clergy Program Improves Services to Inmates

This article describes how the Broward County Sheriff's Department changed its non-structured religious program to a structured volunteer religious program. The results of this change added security to the religious program by screening volunteers more thoroughly and improved religious services that were provided to inmates by developing a team concept among the various religious faiths.
