Results are provided from an evaluation of the Allegheny County Jail (ACJ) Collaborative, a jail inmate collaboration-based reintegration program. Sections following an executive summary are: profile of Allegheny County; Allegheny County Jail Collaborative; ACJ Collaborative goal; race and incarceration -- national and local trend; evaluation study; major findings -- overall recidivism rate comparison, recidivism by race, cost and savings profile, human service needs of ACJ inmates, and inmate transition into community life; and Research Team and Advisory Committee.
