The occurrence of severe violent offending by juvenile detainees with head injuries is examined. This report is comprised of the following sections: introduction; method; results for demographics, offense classification, head injuries (probability of having one, association between head injuries and violent offending, and probability of having committed a severely violent offense); discussion; and conclusion. There exists a "significant relationship between head injury and participation in severe violent crime in incarcerated juvenile offenders" (p. 13).
