Outcome Evaluation of the Forever Free Substance Abuse Treatment Program: One-Year Post-Release Outcomes. Rev. [ed.]

Results from an outcome evaluation of the Forever Free Program at the California Institution for Women in Frontera are presented. This program is "an intensive residential treatment program for women inmates with substance abuse problems followed by voluntary community residential treatment during parole" (p. iv). Sections of this report are: executive summary; introduction; background; program description; recent studies of Forever Free; design and methods; findings; and discussion and recommendations. Forever Free significantly reduces drug use, increases chances for employment, and delays reincarceration. Accession Number: 020051
