Cognitive Reflective Communications: Dealing with "Risk Roots"

The phases involved in training others to use Cognitive Reflective Communication (CRC) are described during this 5-day course. CRC is "highly advanced communication skill designed to promote intrusive, focused communication" (p. i). Six modules comprise this program: introduction; logic of criminal thinking; cognitive risk roots; levels of human communication; introduction to CRC; and using CRC during client contact. The Trainer's Manual includes: trainer introduction; participant training agenda; trainer learning objectives; Trainer's Guide; lesson plans; trainer exercises; and trainer attachments and appendixes.
