Information regarding the selection and utilization of chemical agent (CA) and toxic industrial material (TIM) detection equipment is provided. Volume I contains the following sections: executive summary; introduction to CA and TIM; overview of CA and TIM detection technologies; selection factors; equipment evaluation; and recommended questions on detectors. Three sections are contained in Volume II: an executive summary, market study, and description of data fields. Appendixes include: indexes by chemical detector identification number, by chemical detector name, and by chemical detector manufacturer name; immediately dangerous to life and health values (IDLH); and chemical detector data sheets.
