The selection and utilization of chemical and biological equipment in the areas of detention, personal protection, decontamination, and communication are explored. Volume I focuses upon selection, while VolumeII presents decontamination equipment data sheets for equipment talked about in Volume I. Sections comprising Volume I include: introduction; description of chemical agents, toxic industrial materials, and biological agents; overview of CB decontamination; introduction to CB decontaminants; overview of emergency first responder initiatives for CB decontamination; selection factors; and decontamination equipment evaluation. Appendixes include: recommended questions on decontamination equipment; decontamination shelters; decontamination equipment trailer; index by decontaminant name; decontaminant data sheets; and EPA letter addressing hazardous runoff. Volume II contains three sections: introduction; market survey; and data fields. Appendixes include: index by decontamination equipment identification number; index by decontamination equipment name; index by decontamination equipment manufacturer name; and decontamination equipment data sheets.
