An inventory based upon an initial round of a survey about mother-child programs is provided. Entries noting the program, contact, service information, available materials, and if the program has day reporting or day treatment components that are not limited to aftercare are organized into the following five categories: residential programs serving sentenced women only; residential programs serving both sentenced and non- or pre-sentenced women; non-residential programs including day reporting/day treatment, work or education release, or home detention/electronic monitoring; programs involving specialized case management for female offenders with children; and community programs for women with children that accept offenders.
