Two useful pamphlets describing effective job search techniques are included along with information on the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) and the Welfare-to-Work Tax Credit. Contents of "Tips For Finding the Right Job" include: planning your time; determining your job skills; where to get job information; cover letters and letters of application (with samples); preparing your resume (with samples); interviewing; testing; after the interview; and books that can give you more tips for finding the right job. "Job Search Information" offers tips for the ex-offender on how to fill out an application, phone contacts, what to do if there are no current openings, how to explain a felony conviction, and successful interview techniques.
