Development and Implementation of Drug Court Systems

During the past decade, 140,000 drug-using offenders have been under drug court supervision with 71% either successfully completing or currently participating in court-mandated, comprehensive treatment programs. Research shows that drug courts are more successful than any other type of community supervision in closely monitoring drug offenders in the community.
