The Academy Division coordinates most of the Institute's training activities for practitioners working in state and local adult corrections throughout the U.S. and its commonwealths and territories. It also provides training for juvenile justice, Federal prison system, and military corrections practitioners through interagency agreements.
Training programs are offered in the areas of correctional leadership, jail management, prison management, offender management, and training for trainers.
